Inspur decided to donate RMB 2 million of cash to the earthquake disaster area in Wenchuan, Sichuan , which will be used in emergency succor and reconstruction. At the same time, staff of Inspur also donated spontaneously with the slogan "Love in Inspur to Succor the Earthquake Disaster Area ". All level leads and staff loosen their purse strings generously to deliver some warmth to the people in disaster area with their kind heart. Inspur also granted pension to employees hit by the earthquake and arranged tents and other materials being delivered to the disaster area as soon as possible to settle the extremely urgency of their families.

The Chairman & CEO of Inspur Group Mr. Sun Pishu said that: "The situation of the earthquake in Wenchuan, Sichuan Province affected hearts of all staff of Inspur.  When disaster struck, help came from all sides. The development of Inspur has always prospered from supports from all circles of society. As an enterprise citizen, for such a sudden disaster there is no shirking the responsibility for us. Inspur will provide all supports for the reconstruction of disaster area, and will help people there overcome difficulties to reconstruct their homestead with our all effort ".

After the disaster happened, Inspur start up the emergency system promptly and contacted all staff working there at the first time to confirm that the local employees and their families were in a whole skin. Meanwhile, tech-supporting and custom service staffs of Inspur headquarter and South-west Section called near 1000 clients in disaster area as soon as the communication was good to realize the damaging situation of users' information systems and needed technology and special help. Inspur has found out that many important departments' information systems related to the well going of producing and living has been damaged in different degrees. To guarantee the resumption of normal producing and living in the shortest time, Inspur has founded a special technology-supporting team from servers to ERP and industry software, which has been maintaining the clients' damaged information system.

 As an enterprise citizen, Inspur has always been participating in public welfare. In early May, 2008, Inspur donated to build a Hope Project primary school at Ningjin, Shandong Province. We hope that the donation can contribute humble effort to succor and reconstruct the disaster area.
