How We Engage
Project engagement and delivery models are customized for each client taking into consideration the client's requirements, confidentiality and security requirements, project dynamics, deadlines, costs concerns, and legal issues.
ISW delivers software services and solutions through a combination of Onsite-Offshore models that the client can customize based on the client’s requirements and the project’s scope:
• Onsite (100% of development performed at the client's facilities)
• Offshore (100% development at one of our appropriate offshore development centers)
• Onsite and Offshore (Partly at the client's facilities, with the majority of development work performed at one of our offshore development centers)
The success of any project is based on having effective communication, whether onsite, offshore, or a combination of onsite/offshore. To maintain effective communication throughout the entire development project, we adhere to the following:
• Conform to ISO 9000/CMMi benchmark quality standards throughout the development process
• Utilize comprehensive Risk Management, Change Management, and Version Control processes to manage all projects
• Use Microsoft project management applications that included Project, Project Central, and SharePoint Portal Server to communicate project status and measure performance.
• We allow clients to log into the Microsoft Project server is monitor each project's progress in real-time
• Follow the "Prototyping" approach, where each client's functional requirements are translated into 'look and feel' prototypes and modules, before freezing the project scope and proceeding to the development phase.
• Perform regular communication and project reviews between the client and our project teams using IP Phones, E-mail, Instant Messaging, and Video Conferencing.
When using offshore and onsite/offshore development models, we encourage clients to assign specific staff members to be a part of the offshore development team during the initial portion of each project.
