Client Description: Our client is a world-famous Japanese enterprise who focuses on selling feminine hygiene products. The company formally entered into the Chinese cosmetic market and began their business in 2003. It possesses more than three hundred kinds of feminine hygiene products. Since its inception in 1996, its sales achieve 7 billion yen (about 450 million RMB) per year in Japan. Considering Chinese geography, the company adopts the delivery strategy of recruiting wholesalers in different districts, dispatching the product to the district wholesalers through a logistic base, at which point the district wholesaler dispatches the product to retailers. Within a month of entering China, this brand's products entered four hundred first-class markets in Beijing and Shanghai.

Project background:
The project had a hard deadline. The website had to be accessible before the product entered into the market; the server had to work safely 24*7 and around-the-clock. Also, our client is a Japanese enterprise and had no idea of Chinese regulations (for an instance: the regulations for setting up a website and server management in China). As such, we had to be in constant contact with the client in order to assist it in its transactions as well as complete the server and website setup.

Project Characteristic:
·Knowledge Field: The system development platform was Linux and PostgreSQL Database, multi servers corresponding, background automatic handling, mass information.
·Technique skill: The developers were required to set up LINUX SERVER, including WEB, DB, and backup servers, provide domain resolution, virtual space, and backup services.
·High Capability: High requirements in the security of data transferring. With the goal of perfecting the system, we optimized the capability of coding, SQL processing and lowered time delays.
·Communication Skill: An extremely high level of Japanese was required. All members of the team had to be able to complete all the files and reports in Japanese and communicate with the client in Japanese.
·Management Skill: Provide website visiting record reports and database information every week. Send emergent notices to the client within 10 minutes when the emergent events are arisen. Solve the problems within 30 minutes and send solution reports to the client.

Project Difficulties: Short period; fast website updates; difficult long distant communication.
Solution: We communicated with the client via email and telephone regularly. We also attended all of the client's conferences.

Result: The server has run two for years without any problems. We won the satisfaction and trust of this client.
